The Sales Assistant is required to have Trilingual Fluency (Spanish, Portuguese and English) and is responsible for developing and maintaining excellent customer service to internal and external customers to support the trade of Interra International’s products. The Sales Assistant’s role is to serve as primary contact for key accounts to proactively resolve outstanding issues, respond to client inquiries, manage transactions in the order system, manage and maintain purchase contracts to delivery, and partner with the logistics team to ensure efficient and timely product delivery. In addition, the Sales Assistant’s role is to report and analyze open and pending claims, and to investigate and recover various issues related to customer deductions, container demurrage, truck detention, and quantity shortages.
