From the Desk of Interra's Founder, Steve Isaf
January 2025 marks Interra’s 25th year. Founded in 2000 by eight visionaries, Interra’s Values, Vision, and Mission have been the foundation of our growth. Today, I am proud to call this incredible team of 150 members from 30 countries my Interra Family.
Reflecting on this moment, I’m reminded of the “Why” behind Interra’s success. My own drivers, set in 1979, were to travel, learn about cultures, and be a citizen of the world. Interra has brought these aspirations to life. By 2010, I realized our “Why” went beyond me. Interra’s “True North” became clear: to be “A highly effective team where everyone is achieving their greatest potential.” This team includes our Vendors, Customers, and the entire Interra Family.
Thank you for believing in the Interra Way for these remarkable 25 years. I look forward to the next 25 years of new destinations, products, friends, and an even larger Interra family.

Covid Lockdown

All business was shut down, including the Steamship line. We had so many loads stuck in the port. We asked the officer of our office building to deliver the original document, and we tried our best to find the courier company to send out the doc.
We had meetings with the US office everyday to report our status. In this time, we all locked in as a community, to be there for each other and do what we could. We were lacking food at that time so Steve and Eric were all concerned us and routinely checked in with us. Finally, with the company’s help, I was able to book a food package and have it delivered to each of our team’s homes. This helpful action and the checking in were a very warm sentiment and was comforting at an unstable time.

Interra is founded on a belief to give back. We have championed a deep commitment to local impact through community-focused initiatives. In Atlanta, we’ve partnered with local nonprofits, organized employee volunteer days, and contributed to distribution programs and food drives, ensuring our efforts align with the city’s needs.
This spirit of giving has become a cornerstone of our global ethos. By translating our Atlanta-rooted approach, we’ve empowered teams worldwide to engage with their local communities meaningfully.
